General Question: I just got in an agrument with a broker over the following point. What's the experience and opinion of others on this subject.

An option was quoted differently on different exchanges by a 1/4 point difference to sell. I said sell it. When I called back ten minutes later they said its still at 1 1/2 on one exchange and 1 3/4 on another. Again I called back and both exchanges were showing 1 1/2 to sell. I asked why they hadn't gone for the 1 3/4 price. They said it wasn't on the primay exchange and that I hadn't asked specifically that they go to another exchange to execute even though it was there that the price I was asking to sell at was being quoted. They said it was my responsibility not theirs to designate where I wanted my sale to be offered... ??????

A. please call your own brokers and let me know if this is bull and get back to me here.. with the name of your brokerage if you feel comfortable. thanks

Jim
