Hey! LGND is planning to issue 4 NDAs within the 1998, 1999 time period. What do you expect us to say. Ok, ok. Here is the conversation the way you want it:
Henry: "Hmmmm!? LGND's at $14 right now. We should see $13 after the earnings report, and then $12 after the Panretin Gel NDA".
RXGOLF: "But, Henry, won't LGND go up after good news".
Henry: "Of course not. I knew all along that LGND would go down each time they released positive clinical tests, or applied for a NDA. It always happens that way to biotechs".
tonyt: "Yeh, right! It's funny how someone, who is supposed to know LGND, always predicts that it is not going up".
Henry: "And, then, the next slam dunk will be when the NDA for the first capsule treatment for cancer (Panretin) comes out in 1999. We should see $10 per share then! AND! If LGND can come thru with a cure for diabetes we might see $5 per share!"
