Dessauer notes Core Labs' 89% growth in the first quarter of 98 and believes Core Labs will continue to grow revenue 'as far into the future as anyone can see'. He claims it is more productive to spend money for Core Labs' services than to go looking for new oil in a time of relatively low oil prices. Although it is selling at a high PE ratio, he suggests buying more stock if it ever falls below $22, but he doubts this will happen.

I think it is better for the environment to use existing facilities (oil wells or housing) then to build new ones. Core labs allow companies to get more oil from their existing wells. Oil drilling is sometimes done in virgin and delicate environments.
