Here's an interesting British reaction to HGSI's attempt to patent the gene for some entire bacteria: news.bbc.co.uk My view is that they can have the patent for any noxious bacteria they want as long as they also take full responsibility for all damage the bacteria do <G>. Why wasn't HGSI also impacted by the PKN announcement? Peter
