According to this week's Nikkei Weekly, "Intel's computer plant in Oregon manufactures Sony desktops." <The Nikkei Weekly, November 11, 1996, Page 8. "US is on PC makers' screens">

Is this true?

I understood that Intel manufactured motherboards and chipsets to support the processors. I was not aware that Intel manufactured complete systems (for distribution).
