Francis, remember you can always buy puts even if there are no shares to short. Please this is not my recommendation, unless you go far out. Then you'll have to pay a fairly high premium. If you believe that Amzn has a long way to go down? Then, that premium will not be so unattractive. Actually, the premium might end up looking as tight as a Flies ass, stretched across the Golden Gate bridge.
