Its nice to find someone who knows about ARMHY. I've been trying in vain to strike up a conversation over in the Motley Fool. Never thought to check over in SI...... :-(
>>Buying this stock at this price requires an element of faith, faith >>that Intel will decide that its next major growth area is in low power chips for cell phones and network computers. >>
Remember that IBM, Matsushita, Digital and many other power brokers have licensced it also, so its not just Intel. IBM is epecially interesting since they also have competing PowerPC technology All the engineers I work with are EXTREMELY impressed with the technology. My personal technical dealings with them have also been impressive. Thus, this stock will succeed. IMHO, its just a matter of your entry point for the stock.
>>On its price all I can say is that it has 25% more trailing revenue>>
What I like about the stock is that it has years of increasing profitability and sales growth, so unlike the Internet stock fever, there is something of real substance here.
I tried desperately to get in on the IPO, but I failed. At the original $16 IPO price, this would have been a steal (even the repriced IPO was ok).
I'm giving serious consideration to shorting till it drops to the low 30's, then re-evaluating from there.
