Over the long run, dividing trading volume by two gives a ballpark idea of actual investor trades on Nasdaq and BB stocks. Short term is a different story, but supposing we only had, say, 160K in actual investor trades today, I did a measly 35K shares (on the buy side), so someone else did the other 125K.
