But Mike they held a Rhapsody "boot camp" at this WWDC

From AAPL's WWDC page:

" Up to Speed on Rhapsody?

For those of you who missed WWDC '97 and want to ramp up on the basics of
Rhapsody and Yellow Box technology, Apple is hosting the Yellow Box Boot Camp.
This 2.5 hour session will be held on Sunday, May 10 begining at 2:00 pm. During this
session we will give you basic literacy in the concepts of Objective-C, Java, the
Yellow Box, and Rhapsody so you are prepared to jump right into the Rhapsody and Yellow Box sessions at WWDC '98 without missing a step. "

There is something cooking with Rhapsody -- $400 million for 1 release then back to a MacOS ?

It doesn't add up . I understand your concept of Jobs playing to the audience , but here the attendees at this WWDC didn't clap !
