The rest of the world must be watching this farce unfolding and shaking their heads in amazement. Our robust non-inflationary economy is the envy of everyone around the globe. A major factor in productivity gains has been the rapid progress of information technology. Unfettered free enterprise at work. The competitive environment has created losers but far more winners. The nature of the beast.

The Wintel juggernaut, like it or not, is a driving force in wealth and job creation and a big reason our economy is in such good shape today. The self righteous, posturing, mental midgets in the DOJ and state AG offices and their whining supporters get ready to derail the engine and stop the train. If they don't realize what they are doing, they are just plain stupid. If they do realize the negative ramifications of what they are attempting, they are just plain evil.

This is just my opinion and time will reveal the outcome of this "theater of the absurd", but I'm loading up on puts. Anyone who thinks that the government slamming Microsoft won't precipitate a major tech selloff in the market, is smoking something other than tobacco. Someone mentioned killing the golden goose. That's exactly right and worth remembering come next election day.
