Bob, It's clear that LGND rarely gets mentioned. Look at all the talk about the cure for cancer, companies that have cancer drugs, cancer stories in the newspaper and on tv, yet LGND is no where to be seen. It just might be that lgnd is too busy trying to get their act together before the FDA and with this recent deal than to have a pr firm try to get their story out. LGND surely doesn't want to disappoint those analysts that expect the co to turn a profit of 80-90 cents next year. We shall see how what the market thinks about the deal tomorrow. I'm guessing that it will be wash but I hope I'm wrong. Maybe the co. should also release that rat study again to hedge against a possible market frown upon the deal.
