My question was this: There have been many comments about the power of this thread being diluted because of the "warring factions" (you and dog etc). It has also been put forth that part of the problem may have been your move to a pay site, thus inadvertantly creating an elitist sort of "members only" perception here. (be patient I'm getting to the question)
If I remember correctly, the 2 biggest reasons to go private were the faster notification of picks, and weeding out naysayers and other "undesirables"... Well, is it working out? It DOES seem to me that the trading volume of your picks is not what it was...
Do you notice the difference now that that all of this thread isn't united? Is there still a good reason for keeping the site? This thread may have never been a united front and it probably never will be... This many people getting together and there will be conflicts.. such is life...
BUT a lot of people followed your moves and everyone here seems to agree that it worked...
Is it truly better for you now?
I must say that it matters little to me, I play the same as I did, looking at my own picks, and those of Joe Copia, Big Dog, you, and a few others whom I respect, and only after doing some DD do I invest..
It's just that I asked this question a few times and never got an answer.. If you say it is truly better this way, then maybe everyone will shut up about it and go on from here...
