Richard, you no doubt know that after any initial run-up on news, the stock will likely decline and become a possible purchase candidate with less speculation built into it. You must consider the real possibility that the current Strachan well might be a commercial success. Right now, I see very much risk in all the Strachan companies, with TKE being the less risky of all.
Many investors would much prefer paying a little more knowing what they are buying, rather than speculating on a well, about which there does not appear to be very much info available.
Is the light green or red? We can't tell yet. I sold already at $2 and if the well is a success and the price is too high, I will not get back in, but will find another investment or speculative situation. The wait could be long.
If the well results were that good, we would see some speculation pushing the stock price higher than it is now. Not many appear convinced that this well is good enough. On the plus side, longer term investors have not bailed out and will patiently wait to see if the well is good, or whether there is reason to do more drilling. |
