Mohan,

Just say no!

Despite all my neuroses I live in wonderful peace and security. I wish all did. It is difficult for me to comprehend a life spent staring down through the cross hairs at my enemy, and its even more difficult to understand life as that enemy. It is also hard to understand that it is India which violated CTBT. The Indians I have known are very peaceful, and have taught me a greater understanding of the word peace.

I suppose though, that some peace comes from knowing and understanding the neuroses of your enemies. 200 billion people still can not stop the destruction of one well placed bomb.

I'd prefer a world with less weapons of mass destruction. But there are two (many) sides to everything and therefore evil and good. The evil in this world will continue to find power through force and threat. The good seek power through other means, but need the force to balance (esp. when the force rings up a 5 on the Richter scale.)

To sum, Just say no! But I know better.
