"What implications can you draw from it?" It seems to me that some of the money withdrawn from Japanese accounts will go to other banks. But some has to be finding its way to physical gold. As for Japan's banks, they have some big ones. "Too big to fail," but maybe impossible to save. I think an international banking crisis is possible. Maybe others on this thread know more about the potential implications.
