Celeron is created to satisfy the crowd that THINK (or not knowing any better) CPU power has reached a plateau. They thus can purchase Celeron system, which is Slot-I and capable of being upgraded to a more advanced processor later on. On the other hand, people like Time Traveler and most corporate do insist on highest performance computers with the mundane architecture (Windows platform). They then can purchase full Deschutte system, which is again very Slot-I. That leaves out people in between, at least only a very small handful. I am afraid Time Traveler is not convinced that Intel has made a BOO BOO. Time Traveler
