Brokerages on the internet all have slightly different software. Check it out to see if they can satisfy your requirement first. Most have different minimum account requirements too. E-Trade starts at $1000. All the others starts at $2000 minimum account.

The amount is too small for any serious investment for big stocks; so the action is most likely $5 or under stocks, which is riskier. In general, $10 stock in round lots have more nice moves than $5 and under stocks.
