I still hold a short position and don't feel too worried at the moment. We went through some discussion earlier about how the revenues for this quarter need to be stunning (Q-on-Q rather than Y-on-Y). The latest press release hardly inspires confidence.

I suspect we might see discussion here as we have seen elsewhere to 'reset' expectations... this is not the blowout quarter, the next one is (repeat every Q). There is a nice piece of associated logic that says: as companies are not buying the product of XXXX yet, then they are not dealing with the problem, so when they realise there is limited time left they will be forced to buy even more of XXXX's product. Thus any dip on non-stellar earnings is a buying opportunity.

Personally I will be looking to increase my short before earnings.
