Daimler-Benz is one of the best companies in the
world - a little bit dusty, conservative, but highly
innovative.
Their global expansion (USA/Asia - small car sector/trucks in
Japan (they did not sell any trucks in Japan so far!)) creates
a global company.
I think one should forget about national interests for a moment
and should analyze the future of this new giant!
For the next 20 years or so, DC has a very good starting
position as compared with the other big car companies!
Either you accept this fact and hold on your shares or even
buy more - or you disagree, or your national pride has been hit,
- then you should sell and buy USgoforthegold stocks or something
else. The world is changing and global concepts are the way of the
future.
