Packaging Plus announces launch of new Subsidiary.
PKGP announced today that the initial equipment necessary to operate its subsidiary, CUSTOMIZED CORRUGATED CORP. (CCC) is being acquired and will be installed in Packaging Plus warehouse in Plainview, New York. The cost of the initial equipment is $ 348.000. RCC Finance Group Ltd. is providing the financing.
This new division will offer yet another service to the postal/business service centers belonging to PKGP's subsidiary, The Association of Packagers and Carriers, Inc (APAC).
CUSTOMIZED CORRUGATED will now be able to offer sales of customized corrugated boxes to APAC for its customers.. "Transporting corrugated is some times as expensive as for the product itself, but CUSTOMIZEC CORPORATION will be attempting to lower corrugated and transportation cost specifically on small special orders. CCC will also offer increased profitability for APAC store owners as well fulfilling packaging needs for some of our transportation partners", said Nick DeLeone, President of APAC.
"Additional growth will result from outside wholesale customers interested in corrugated boxes that are customized by size, shape and color.
The potential of this company for small businesses and home-based customers of APAC members is enormous due to its unique capabilities," said Michael Lepson, Operation Consultant for PKGP.
In addition, this service will be offered via the Internet to small business owners worldwide.
The Company also announced that Norm Hollander, a corrugated specialist, will serve as a Director of CUSTOMIZED CORRUGATED. "I am excited and impressed to be working with such an aggressive and innovative company attempting to revitalize an entire industry.
