To all, I have this gut feel that we may have reached the top or close to it. When so many mergers are announced in one day one has to believe that the market is running out of gas to fuel these insane levels. Also the momentum-stocks-du-jour are petering out much faster after their rise than in the past. Mutual fund managers are warning their clients to not expect the high returns of the past years and yesterday on Nightly Business Report we actually had an analyst recommend we remain on the sidelines for a correction may be on the horizon. Lastly, my broker recommended I go net short! Looks like everyone wants to protect their behinds in case of a major correction and are warning before the next earning pre-announcements hit- probably below the high expectations placed on them. Any comments?
Joe.
