RE:Ter
According to Goldman Sacks analyst Gunnar Miller on an update 5/8; the reason for the recent weakness was speculation in Wall Street that June Q2 orders could be significantly weaker than 1Q. Miller says that his conversation with management did not confirm this, and that the order indications were about where they were last Quarter.
Nevertheless he reduced his earnings estimate Q2 to .48 V .29 from
.54 and cutting his estimate for 1998 by .10 to 2.25. 1999 estimate stays at 3.25.
With a 44% discount to the group median P/E, he is expecting a 40%+ appreciation over the next 12-18 mths.
The stock remains in Goldman's RC list.
I hope this helps,
Orhan
