Please state a viable alternative?
I've long held that the courts--U.S. and Colombian--will come down with rulings in favor of the shareholders having invested in both companies as one company. However, I'm equally certain that such an endeavor could take years of time.
Perhaps you have monies extra and can bid your time. But I--and I know there are others as well--cannot. Thus, I believe a negotiated settlement is the best position for the small-time/quasi-big-time shareholder. At this stage, I don't care who drives the bus.
Not only have I already pulled hair out of my head over the lack of organization that created this mess to begin with, but now I'm pulling more hair out over what I'm hearing regarding the actions of the trustee.
As an aside, I should note, that because my portfolio is in the red, I've grown a beard and won't shave it until it gets back in the black. Believe me, it's no fun from my small-time perched position. I'm not a rich man, never have been. And the way things look now, I never will be. What little money I put up was a lot for me.
Consequently, I welcome Verdad's contribution. Pretty much all we've had during this dead-zone-money-drag-wait-wait-wait time period, has been Flash digging here and digging there, trying real hard to uncover what happened and to find a way to solve the problem. Sure, from time to time, he is overly aggressive but this action is not without just cause. At least with Verdad's participation we now have a new comparative for information.
And I think you'd agree with me, Mixer, information has been terribly lacking in this whole matter. If I can get some, I'm certainly going to consider it. Please continue, Verdad. But for the sake of everything that's good for people, get something positive done fast. So fast, that it feels like it was done yesterday. Please! Please! Please!
