Carol's last post was great. Positive and solution-oriented. What a breath of fresh air amidst what is mainly electronic pollution on this thread any more.

Unfortunately, good threads usually suffer a terrible fate. Like the wonderful neighborhood that goes to the dogs as surly, ill-intentioned neighbors move in, most threads become distasteful for the positive-minded investors wishing to discuss their mutual investments. As the Little Engines, etc. come along with their caustic, biting sarcasm (disguised as well-meaning concern for all), the tone, demeanor and feel of a productive thread change and the once-joyful neighborhood is trashed.

Well, this neighborhood is now trashed. I admit I have been sucked into my share of most unpleasant discourse with certain individuals here. Life is too short to spend much time in pursuit of such madness. If only Silicon Investor would allow its member to initiate threads where only the invited could join. Wouldn't that be great! The nay-sayers would say, "But all you would have would be cheerleaders." This is not true. There is a big difference between rationally discussing concerns about troubling issues and bashing companies and other investors with often-unsubstantiated drivel.

This is my last post here for a while, and maybe my last post here period. I will keep a certain number of FAMH shares for a long-term hold.

Good luck to the optimists who remain...
