All they have to do is authorise more shares. Have you thought about how splits effect the supply and demand situations for individual issues. If you go back and study the tops of great stock moves, You will find that many of them have a split very close to the Actual Print high. Ofcourse that is history, and since history does not matter any more to today's investor, you can ignore all of this. Jim
