OFF TOPIC:

Pat - Keep an eye on two stocks:

ABTX - AgriBioTech (ABTX:Nasdaq). Just upgraded by Piper Jaffray from buy to strong buy. A bit ahead of itself now, but many well respected folks have high hopes for ABTX's consolidation of the seed market. Here's an article from TSC:

AgriBioTech
Robert Metz (4/14)

AgriBioTech (ABTX:Nasdaq) specializes in forage and turf
specializes in forage and turf grass seed, and has bought up enough of its competitors to own a dominant share of its market, says former New York Times financial columnist Robert Metz. The biotech firm,
now trading around 15, is on the verge of explosive gains -- to 50 in two years, 100 in four years, predicts Otis Bradley of Gilford Securities in New York.

According to Bradley, AgriBioTech has achieved "critical
mass." It has a 36% share of its market, more than the next
five competitors combined. That should enable it to turn a
profit for the quarter ending in March. For the year, he
foresees earnings of $7.8 million vs. an $8 million loss last
year. Management has been hitting aggressive earnings
targets well ahead of schedule, he adds.

Bradley sees the stock's huge potential in the valuations of
seed companies. Delta & Pine (DLP:NYSE), for example,
has risen from 28 to 48 in the past two months, and DeKalb
(DKB:NYSE) from 33 to 70.

In addition, multinational agriculture chemical companies,
like Monsanto (MTC:NYSE), DuPont (DD:NYSE) and Dow
(DOW:NYSE), are focusing increasingly on agriculture, and
are paying "phenomenal" prices to buy in -- which makes
AgriBioTech a takeover candidate. "Consider a buyout
possibility as insurance," Metz says.

The stock also has impressive institutional money behind it. Soros Funds just put money into it at a cost basis of $13.75.ÿ

I talked my friend into this stock at around $14. Needless to say, he's done very well (as the stock has moved 30% in two days). I wouldn't chase it here, but could be one to accumulate on dips. In any event, put it on your ticker list.

One other stock:

CYBX - Has lost almost 50% since its high a few weeks ago. Looks like it might have found some support today at 19 1/8. Don't know too much about it fundamentally but technically it looks playable. I will have to do some more fundamental research.

Good luck (GO NN).
