I've sold many "overbought, undervalued" stocks over the last 5 months or so successfully, always with the intention of buying back after short term (5 to 10 trading days) dips. You gotta believe in TA to do it though, with FA alone this strategy makes no sense.

represents a trading system that I've been using since the beginning of the year with some success (so far). It works for me is all I can say.
