My 2 cents.

The Nvidea suit accomplishes numerous objectives.

They are small and (relatively speaking) inexpensive to sue.

The suit will also stunt their forward progress if it does not
freeze them in their tracks temporarily. It gains valuable time for S3.

It serves notice on the others.

If indeed there are discussions going on it will tell them S3 may resort
to a suit to get what they want.

I think all in all a good move.

I do not think it would translate in bucks per share based on what may occur
but the net effect IMO is a precious gain of time and potentially
market share.
