The State Of SEEK... Short-Term Ain't My Game...

* LCOS' games area is getting its infrastructure from Go2Net,
the folks that just purchased our beloved SI. One might wonder
if this is the beginning of a greater relationship...

* We are in that choppy time between earnings reports. For
long-term SEEK holders, this period may look rather familiar...
new stock price, for sure... but possible drift and dip, drift
and dip, little ups and little downs. I say this only as a point
of historical reference. Granted, the price was different.
And we hadn't stepped into the limelight yet.

* But... IN THE ABSENCE OF MAJOR NEWS... would it not make
sense for the stock to take a bit of a breather... and trade
in a relatively narrow range? I'm watching volumes.

* And I'm also watching the Market. To repeat from prior posts
on other threads--and risk incurring wrath--this Market feels
spongy. Yes, we are waiting for CPI and inflation indicators,
etc. And, on the other hand, we are benefiting from Asian flight capital
and have the strongest market on the globe. And each month record
numbers of new monies flow into mutual funds. But, despite all
the outwardly positive signs... I keep wondering. However, this
will be my last post on this subject... because I'm not a Market
direction picker or even passable at the short-term.

* News I fondly hope to see from SEEK soon...

* A NewsReal deal with an international media
company.

* A new channel sponsorship advertising deal.

* An indication that SEEK is jumping with both
feet into multimedia, via games or work with
a company like RNWK.

* Another WBS-style buy. (I wish SEEK would look
here in Austin and buy DejaNews... but that's just
an quirky desire. DejaNews is a good
company.)

That's all for today. Best Regards,

c m
