I never could figure out how greed got into the conversation anyway, nor what it had to do with basic long term investing. I guess it comes from a very different mindset. As you know, I did try to time the market with poor results and as you have pointed out, if your long term horizons extend beyond several years, it's difficult to beat the buy and hold philosophy. Warren certainly has proven this point and I never heard him referred to as 'greedy'.<ggg> Regards, Lee
