Saju , option expiration week so we have our negative analyst Cites the month (April) before IBM's major mainframe/super-server announcement showed a "surprise" drop in demand : biz.yahoo.com " Young left his earnings estimates unchanged, according to market sources, but said an extension of April's trend could mean up to a $0.20 per share profit reduction in the quarter. Young declined to comment on his research, issued earlier today, but sources familiar with the note said he cited a slump in domestic mainframe demand in April for the caution. " OK I'll buy that , as super-server customers were told to hold off for the G 5 model , but its not a unknown practice . Could he be reporting this because options expire this Friday ?
