Small profit on Victory Gallop to PLACE. Quarter horses, huh? Those races are too quick for me. In fact, with the T-breds, I tend to pass on a lot of sprints and concentrate my efforts (and action) on the route races, particularly turf routes. More room for error on everyone's part. BTW, my old favorite, CORONADO'S QUEST, is going in the Preakness Saturday and I think it's his race to win or lose. After watching a not-so-scintillating Derby, he is looking more and more like the real beast. History, however, favors horses who ran in the Derby, not "fresh" horses.
As for MICRON: promises, promises.<g>. Korea is looking good, however. Would you suggest one of the closed-end funds?...Pete |
