Hi Rob!

Was looking over my May 4 edition of BARRON'S and came across an interesting story. It was called Prosperity Bites under the FOLLOW - UP column. It's " A return visit to Earlier Stories". Any way, it's a rehashing of the temp agency companies profiled from March '96. I quote:

The real money appears to be in providing pros.(professionals) ...AccuStaff, of Jacksonville, FL- which derives 2/3's of it's profits from another hot area, information-technology services- saw earnings jump 45%.

Another interesting tidbit:

Some of this comes from acquisitions. The industry has changed in other ways...the field is enormously competitive, and probably overcrowded...focus is on relatively new companies that lease employees and have long-term contracts rather than just acting as employment agencies.

I remember when talking to Tom that he mentioned that the possibility of INFE being bought out was a possibility down the road although they have NOT even been approached about such a thing. I don't want to see any posts anywhere claiming that Theo says INFE is a buyout candidate...;-) In point of fact, Tom stated that INFE is currently looking for acquisitions of their own!! <G> But, down the road, the possibility of INFE being bought out does exist...

In any event, I admit that I will rest much easier once news confirming the merger completion AND signed contracts is released.

Theo
