I saw two Y2K products this afternoon at CompUSA, for $49, neither by companies I had heard of before.

I was amazed. I wonder how many individuals will be concerned enough about their personal computers to buy one of those products.

* * *

CompUSA also had some close-out computer books, priced down to $15. Most were dated 1996. (Other books were priced around $5.) I don't know if every store is reducing their stock of books, or if this particular store somehow ended up with unwanted books. I wasn't able to decide if I needed any of the books. There were a few titles about Sybase/Microsoft SQL that I was thinking might be useful, as I would like to learn about database programming. Are there any particular titles that people out there found useful for SQL?
