Most people are afraid of change. But then again the 3.5 is dead. People also do not hang onto old technology ie, cassettes versus cd roms. Change occurs over a product life cycle which is not cut and dried. As computing units become more mobile, the 1.4 mg disk will become a true liability, just my idea. And yes I agree with you networks rule but one still can utilize personal storage for use on ghost computer units, (esp. as network computing builds out, I mean who is gonna pay for Microsoft software when its more expensive than the CPU itself) Java will rule, and with that storage will be a more critical issue. peace good luck shorting I am only a long player
