I couldn't agree more! Breaking up monopolies is as American as apple pie (or as Scottish as Haggis). I reluctantly formed the opinion that they should be broken up after reading horror story after horror story about Microsoft's business practices. Contrary to what they have managed to convince much of the public, a Microsoft monopoly is anti-consumer.
