I was thinking that some good may have come from the Bre-x scam. Mining companies, especially juniors who want to become reputable, will probably take great pains in keeping track of all their core, samples, rejects, and core logs so that if any investor or analyst has a problem with their figures they will be able to take more tests to prove the results. It might make them a little more honest, and those who do not want to take these precautionary measures will probably not be worth investing in, unless of course you know when to get in and get out!!
