Well, you couldn't ask much more from montreal. From the second period on they took it to the sabres. Too bad they couldn't put more goals behind the dominator.
I have to agree, watch out for buffalo. With Hasek they could go all the way.
But let's cross our fingers for a canadian team to make it.

Did you catch the replay of Macinnis's center ice slap shot that scored the tieing goal for St. Louis. And with one minute to go. Ouch!
That one hurt.
I'm pulling for detroit in that series. Just because I can't stand the whining Hull.

Coach of the year is going to be a tough pick this year. Burns has done a great job with this team considering how quickly he changed a team with decades of history of being a grinding team to a skating team in one season.
Robinson is also a favorite of mine. He quietly built himself a solid hockey team when no one was looking. They remained focused all year and didn't let sunny california go to there heads like team in the past.
Quenville has also been nominated. No doubt he's managed to keep hull happy and when he's happy the teams happy. There loaded with talent and are finally showing the league how good they really are. To me Fuhr is the star for St. Louis. I've been lucky enough to watch Grant and Courtnals play as juniors here in Victoria. They were stars then.
