J-R, BCE is raising money to finance Canadian expansion such as raising its stake in CGI (see today's G&M article). I don't know that it means anything to us however - I understood the January agreement to mean that BCE would boost its stake beyond 43% by acquiring the shares owned personally by G, I and B. We'll have to wait for clarification. theglobeandmail.com
