Bosco Let me paraphrase the analyst - I had no idea what is going on? Nortel has a history of coming in low. I owned Micom about 2 years ago when Nortel bought them for lower than the trading price. I don't think that this is a similar case, however it does not surprise me that BAY found the bid too low. You can bet that Nortel will try to lock this up prior to Oct. when Lu is allowed pooling of interests. I would guess that if the offer is heavy in cash you will see BAY go around 35 - 37. I do believe that both LU and Nortel are interested, so naturally that will affect the price. All just my opinion. Frank Just my opinion
