There are good reasons, and they have been discussed here already, but most important remember that all the OEMS are gonna give out free copies.. They pay for those free copies, they pay MSFT. Almost all the computers sold this month and next, double the licence fees to MSFT....

Its really not an incremental release, the online update feature is very nice for IS depts... if the PCs are on the internet it will be fast and easy for end users to update themselves... clean and easy.
