I will upgrade (and so will many companies in Europe) because of the Euro symbol (the Euro starts Jan 1, 1999). In win98 (I have the consumer preview) the Euro symbol is included. I can use it in word, excel and powerpoint. Because I'm in Brussels Belgium and do finance/tax work, this is important. It is just another small upgrade that for some is necessary. I'm sure there will be ways to get the euro symbol on Win95, but I could only get it to work on word97, not Powerpoint97.
