Military Spedning-TOP 30 LIST

Peter,

I don't know the current figures but here is something I found which
might be of interest. The data is from 1993 and should give an idea.

infomanage.com

We all would be better off with less military spending, the U.S. as much as India. But the U.S., to a substantial degree, is a force behind worldwide military build-up.

Very ture and applicable in the sub-continent considering Pakistan's Air Force is flying F-16s and India's Russian Migs and French Mirages. What I don't understand is then these 'powers' turn around and talk about 'world peace'-do you see a paradox somewhere here.It is all very amusing to say the least.
