Defence spending is 2.8% of GDP in India (and rising I imagine if they get into an arms race with Pakistan). I don't know what the equivalent figure is in the US but I'm sure they can beat 3%! They spend $150bn/year keeping US troops in Europe so they can spend their time drinking beer and chasing girls. Apparently they don't even have enough bullets to fight a thirty day war. And what about sugar farmers etc etc
