Mr. Latif, first of all please accept my apologies for not thanking you earlier, for the articles you made available for me. If you don't mind, I would forward them to be posted on the "Pakistan 2010" site at erols.com

Regarding the current situation, I agree with you. Pakistan should not enter into this nuclear race with India. India has made a mistake and today world is little less safer then it was a week ago. Unfortunately people in our part of the world don't understand that wars, both conventional and unconventional, are the things of the past. Pakistan should "NOT" follow. We have more important things to take care of. We have to increase the level of education and standard of living of our people first. Being a nuclear power when a big number of our people live in poverty is meaningless. The whole world knows that we have the capability, we do not need an explosion to prove any thing. Restraining ourselves will help us in the long run, both economically and diplomatically.

In any case we should wait for a few months, and see what kind of sanctions are imposed on India, if none - then we should consider the option.
