All these employees remember DSND too...and they were in a
trading window. Volvos to buy, vacations to Kona, etc.

Darren,

Have you met or talked to any Ascend employee's or is this your conjecture?

When ASND fell last fall I did talk with several engineers from Ascend about the stock price/product/WS/....they were all extremely excited/confident/ and so happy to be where they were working it was sickening. ASND is very generous w/ stock options to their employees.

The CFO was brought in last winter after the slide. He is in great part the reason ASND has regained WS's confidence in the company.

I haven't read but a few posts here today...but as I recall there hasn't been any significant insider selling.

I'm sure many very smart investors on this thread are familiar with this trading pattern in ASND. It simply has no where to go....until options flux what little there is this month is over. Now, that some inflation/interest rate/earnings fears are passing Ascend has room to continue it's Ascent. Monday is an excellent day to buy calls.

In my opinion ASND is not that great a trading stock anymore...it's a strong buy/buy on dips hold stock. I forgot about the LU takeover rumors back in Jan. I'm not up to speed on the lastest round, but be wary of the source is my motto.

All of the above are just my views as of today.

Jeff
