Actually, Japan was a net sellers of bonds until last month when a huge reversal of flow of funds occurred. It could have been an aberration. We'll need to wait few more months to see. The big bang itself is going to be gradual, if I understand correctly (anythingreleasing these things at once will create huge dislocations in financial market all over the world) and is not supposed to start until about October if memory serves.
