it may have been awhile since folks read the very beginning of this thread. Here is a refresher. Got me excited all over again.

The best way to start this thread is to post the chairman's letter I received.

CHAIRMAN'S INTRODUCTION

Dear Party of Request,

Thank you for your interest in Arcon Energy, Inc., (Arcon). In the past year Arcon has established a diversified foundation for the rapid expansion of the Company. Two separate but interrelated divisions. Octane Blending and Oil and Gas Production.will provide multiple
profit centers in 1998 and ever increasing into the millenium.

Arcon has purchased the patents and world rights to a new and exciting chemical process. This financial arrangement is secured through a contract for the patented process and world rights. Arcon has filed two world patents on the larger volume plants and their process. The new process could be the most important development in petroleum refining since catalytic cracking was introduced in the early 1950's. While the process has great potential to alter
present day refining, Arcon has elected to produce and market an octane enhancer/oxygenator. This high octane product is trade marked "DF-144" or Dynamic Fuels and has a tremendous blending octane value.

No other product marketed today can provide the ethanol tax credits along with the high octane, low vapor pressure characteristics of
DF-144 and tremendous cost savings to the industry.

Arcon has also negotiated a lease arrangement with Oil Tanking, the largest privately held tanking and terminal company in the world for up to 25 years. The agreement will provide acreage at their 300 acre blending and tanking site in Houston, Texas location allowing Arcon
to process DF-144 fuel additive and Arcon blended gasoline for domestic and international shipments. Plans are to install up to four (4) High Octane Enhancer Processing Plants domestically along with several installations abroad. The first four plants will have sales
projections of $500 million.

Arcon has commenced negotiations with ethanol blenders and refiners, particularly in the states where ethanol is the principal octane additive.

Arcon has the World rights and patents for 134 countries and fifty states for DF (Dynamic Fuel)-144 and is negotiating with several major companies on a global basis. We have the potential to reach 1 billion in sales by the year 2000 with only two percent of the domestic
market.

Future plans are to create a new brand of high octane gasoline in the 90 to 130 octane range and high octane fuels for the aviation, racing and marine industries. Arcon is now poised to our goal of $1 billion annual sales by the year 2001. Joint ventures with established partners and ongoing negotiations for additional markets could create a bonanza of opportunity to the company and it's investment partners. With our two fuel divisions Arcon is in the position to offer the world marketplace a high octane and environmentally friendly fuel additive and blended gasolines.

A blender in the U.S. has a federal government excise rebate of up to 5.4 cents per gallon per month on ethanol based gasoline. Subsequently, there are 14 (fourteen) new ethanol plants being constructed. The ethanol gasoline market has 12% of the 332,000,000 gallons of the gasoline produced daily in the U.S. and further market share is imminent.

We are pursuing the Canadian market actively at this time, as it appears to have an ample supply of ethanol with over 700 ethanol-user stations in Eastern Canada and very advantageous cash rebates of up to 25 cents per litre. We expect to make an announcement in early 1998.

As Chairman and C.E.O. of Arcon Energy, Inc., I welcome your participation with our company and the rapid expansion of our place in a growing global and diversified energy industry.

Sincerely,

Daniel W. Fisher
Chairman and C.E.O.

Hope it makes everybody feel warm and fuzzy all over again.
