Speaking of Pentium Chips.....some silly information.

Sundar and everyone:

In case any of you didn't know the 'father' of the now ubiquitous Pentium Chip is Mr.Vinod Dham who was the Senior Engineer for Intel where he spent some 12 years or so. Later he joined Nexgen another Chip company in the Silicon Valley founded by Thampi Thomas-another Indian- [now a venture capitalist in the Valley].Nexgen later was sold to AMD a rival and 'clone' chip maker of Intel and help design the K6 chips now found in most no-name and some low end brand name PCs.Later Vinod had a fall out with Jerry Sanders the chairman of AMD and moved on to start another startup in the Silicon Valley.I believe I have posted a link to his new company on this thread many posts ago.

So there you have it in case you didn't know.
