Mark, I know exactly what you're saying. OTOH, ANDW is a 'fallen angel' as far as Wall Street is concerned, and I suspect that most of us have decided to stick this one in the safety deposit box and wait for better days. I think management is doing a great job of the cost control to align with more moderate revenue growth expectations which is entirely appropriate.
Longer term, ANDW is still the "hardware store" for the wireless build out and should provide excellent returns. As far as my portfolio is concerned, I kinda like a lower beta stock so its sleepiness is not a pressing issue. Don't expect much movement this year, but '99 should be terrific. Or so I speculate.
